Karen brings over eighteen years of paralegal experience to The Gloor Law Group. For twelve years just prior to joining the firm in 2006, her principal area of practice was insurance defense with an emphasis on medical malpractice. Karen welcomed the opportunity to expand her medical knowledge base and experience to include toxic tort in the form of research on such topics as latency periods and toxicology science issues. Her background in the medical aspect of general litigation as well as her familiarity with complex medical terminology has made Karen a vital asset to the Gloor Law Group’s paralegal team.
In addition to medical research, Karen's responsibilities include trial preparation such as file, pleading, and exhibit organization, in which she has an extensive background, having assisted in preparation of over one hundred cases since 1988.
A member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Karen earned her Certification and Associates Degree from Palm Beach Junior College. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Florida in Political Science.
