Sandra E. Kupelian concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation in both the trial and appellate courts at the federal and state levels. Her legal specialties include product liability, toxic tort, commercial, construction and insurance coverage litigation.
Ms. Kupelian served as judicial law clerk for Justice Marvin Dunn, Illinois Appellate Court, Second District, 1990-1992; and as judicial law clerk for Justice James F. Quetsch, Illinois Appellate Court, Second District, 1993. She currently serves as an adjunct professor of law at DePaul University's College of Law in Legal Analysis, Research and Communication.
Ms. Kupelian has volunteered her legal services in a number of pro bono matters including representing the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights-Immigration Project, and the National Lawyers Guild in the United States Supreme Court . She has also served on a number of advisory committees to the Oak Park Village Board relating to transportation and environmental issues.
Ms. Kupelian is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Appellate Lawyers Association.
